With 20 years in the business of advertising specialties, printing, and promotional products, we’ve learned a thing or two. And we’re always looking ahead. Here’s a brief look at how we’ve grown and what we think the future looks like at Occasions.
Where We Came From
Founder Lori Lalama began her career in the industry working for a manufacturer of strictly business promotion and office products. When she decided to strike out on her own by starting Occasions, she first represented only social products before returning to her roots and incorporating commercial promotional items.
Where We Are Now
We are very proud to serve individuals, families, businesses, and nonprofits in Brighton and surrounding local areas. We keep up with industry trends and innovations to always offer clients the best quality and variety of products.
Where We Are Going
We work with similar local businesses who are looking to expand their product offerings. By becoming their outside rep for additional promotional products, we aim to build strong business partnerships that encourage customers to shop locally.
We are also aligning with local manufacturers to keep and grow business in Michigan.
Connected in the Community
Lori is passionate about and actively involved in community organizations. She supports the Brighton High School's Senior All Night Party and the Brighton football program. She is a member and volunteer at St. Patrick Parish, part of the Brighton Rotary (President 2009-2010), a member of the Brighton B2B Network and Brighton Chamber of Commerce, and was a former Director of the Board of the American Red Cross-Livingston County Chapter (January 2010 – June 2012).
Community involvement is an important pillar of both Occasions and Lori’s life.
